When Snow Falls

Canadian winters can be blustery and cold, but there is a genuine beauty to the season. The days when bright red cardinals and tiny grey and black chickadees visit upon a backdrop of clean, white blankets of snow are the season's treat.

Designer Deb Strain has perched these special birds in warm and cozy winter stockings, hats and mittens to keep them warm.  The toasty textured winter wear is filled with greenery and tied with a whimsical jingle bell.  Traditional tones of red and greens are used in prints and patterns filled with cardinals, chickadees, jingle bells, snowflakes and mistletoe.
