We can't tell you how exciting these last few months have been for our shop!  It is extremely difficult as a Canadian shop to be selected for QUILT SAMPLER magazine and we are absolutely thrilled to have been chosen!

We've all been sitting on this secret since last February and we're so glad to be able to finally share the news!

We were worried that the secret would get out when the photography crew spent the day at our shop with all their equipment! Computers, cameras and lighting were spread  from one side of the store to the other!   The gals in Stash Pot Pie were busy upstairs sewing and laughing so much that it really did not phase them!! Even the Editor kept commenting on all the laughter. Can you guess who was in that class?

Quilt Sampler Magazine is published twice a year and has been profiling North America's quilt shops for the past 13 years.

Quilt shops submit a detailed application of their history, activities, promotions, teaching schedules, design philosophies and a mission statement. A panel of quilt experts led by Jennifer Keltner, group editor of American Patchwork & Quilting magazine, narrows down the applications to 10 featured shops for each issue. The names of the selected shops are kept a secret and unveiled at either the spring or the fall International Quilt Market.

A profile of our shop along with photos is in the fall issue that we have for sale in our shop now.

Sherri Hisey from Bordercreek Station came through with an excellent design for our original quilt.  We sewed madly one weekend  and shipped it off to Iowa to be photographed and pattern tested.  Our quilt, Oakridges Towne Square  is in the shop now and kits are available for purchase.

The Quilt Sampler Magazine is a very successful recognized magazine and out of print issues are collector's items. Our shop has a limited number of magazines to sell, so come in and get your copy today!

Come celebrate with us!!
